+ You can record 4k video unlike canon stuck in 2003
- You have to grade the shit out of all footage
>Sony

get a better lens and come back.
the power bank charges the internal battery, so it will still overheats.
i suggest getting the meike grip + 18-105 f4
>>3072659
>that denial
wew
>>3072838
>>3072637
Why would you do that? It's a worse sensor.
>>3072838
The grip and 18-105 are good suggestions.
But that is an a6300, shouldn't overheat during normal photography usage.
>>3072852
>18-105
>jewish
no that's the 18-110
You can't charge Sony cameras while they're on, right? I know my A7 doesn't support it.
>>3072852
The 18-105 is cheap dude.

I liked the ergonomics and portability
>>3073037
a7 and a6000 are too old, but everything newer can.
Best slog video settings for a6300?
>>3073037
ofc you can
>>3072635
That's an awesome place for a battery to be when it explodes.
>>3073223
as long as its a nice battery and you're not using it as you shoot, the worst that'll happen is it'll detonate on your chest, hip, or table top.
Regardless, spare insertable batteries are superior in every way other than the cool factor and being able to charge other stuff with it. For the price OP spent on the bracket, hot shoe mount, cable, and battery he could have afforded a couple spare 3rd party batteries. This is clearly a fashion statement. That being said, I think it's super cool OP, thumbs up.
>>3073259
$20 for two batteries and a dual battery usb charger.
They are so cheap it isn't really worth the bother unless you need uninterupted power.
And even then, a dummy battery would be superior.
>>3072659
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH!!!!!!!!!
Even canons most expensive 4k DSLR can't keep up with a little 6300!! Stay kuked fag
>>3073262
Though on one hand, with OP's setup, you dont need a bad to hold spare batteries, or stuff them in your pockets. It's all held onto the frame of the camera. And compared to battery grips, it's much cheaper.
However, I just tested this with my own a6000 and it appears I cannot use the camera while it's plugged in, since it registers the battery as usb connection. It it did though, it would make time lapses much more manageable.
>>3073271
It only works on a6300 and later.
>>3072635
That 55-210 is absolute trash
>>3072635
>geiger counter on your camera
>>3073039
>$550
>cheap
18-105 f4 looks cool but it's another fucking power zoom
I got an a6000 last year and I WANT to like it but so many things piss me off about the system
>>3072659
canon HD looks terrible
got an 80D and my phone does nicer footage
>>3073607
E-mount is a fantastic system. Lot of great lenses and bodies.
Unfortunately, this only applies to fullframe, aps-c e-mount is an unloved bastard child.
I'd love to see a fullframe a5 released with an a6000 styled body.
>>3073970
I think you got that backward. APS-C E mount has tons of lenses and halfway decent 3rd party support, while FE has expanded their lenses, but they're horribly overpriced when compared to their competitors from Canikon and only has two Samyang AF lenses in terms of 3rd party.
>>3072659
Canon video comes out really soft, if you're going to go with Canon for video, go with a slightly older model and use ML either to increase the compression ratio or for raw.
>>3072635
I like how compact mirrorless is. How much can you fit in your pocket?
