Sup /p/
Just recently I was out shooting downtown with a Sony a7 and a Tamron 28-75. I switched to my 50mm for a little bit, then back to the 28-75 and noticed it wouldn't allow me to change the f-stop. All of my other lenses work fine, and when I don't allow the camera shutter to open without a lens on it, it won't shoot with the 28-75. Is this an issue with my lens? Is it fucked? Is there anything I can do?
Bumping with random photos.
Thanks in advance for any advice, /p/

Just a note: I didn't drop it or anything. It sat snug in my camera backpack. It was just from one switch to another it stopped working.
I am using a power adapter to allow me to shoot with Canon/Tamron lenses. Could this be the issue?
Although my 50mm is Canon and it works fine.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
>>3071576
Have you knocked the aperture ring off A?
I've done this a couple of times with that lens.
>>3071577
clean your sensor, dude
>>3071577
Is that Newark, NJ?
>>3071579
Why's this exif reporting as 75mm f1.8?
Why's the dog so out of focus?
>>3071577
Clean your sensor and remove the watermark you mongoloid.
>>3073501
I just had it cleaned.
>>3073498
No, how is this done?
>>3073522
Columbus, OH
>>3073525
It was so dark when I took the photo. It's a shit picture but it was one of the first ones that I attempted to bring to light in lightroom so I kept it as sentiment.
>>3073534
I have another version of the photo somewhere with the spots removed, but yes, I know, I just cleaned the sensor not long ago.
And no.
>>3073525
Also, that's weird. I don't know why it's coming up with 75mm because I shot it with a 50mm prime. Any guesses?

>And no
You may as well get a corner watermark that is clearly visible, or just get rid of the shit one you have now. It's barely legible and is extremely distracting from your average photos.

Only decent photo

>sonyggers adapting lenses
>say they don't need native glass
>end up getting fucked
>>3074942
>sonygger wants to adapt lenses
>ohhh the known good adapters are triple the price of the known shit ones.
>knows a7 can't use adapted af lenses for shit, especially on bad adapters
>buys bad adapter for his a7
>wahhhh my adapted lenses experience is bad
Fucking povvo anons, just buy the right gear, if you can't afford it, work a bit harder.
>>3074942
Of course I want native glass. I don't have the money for it right now.
