Iirc the A9 is one of the cheaper full frames out there
full frame? what a fucking amateur. I recommend a Phase One XF or perhaps a Fuji GFX 50S if youre a poorfag.

I had a rebel for quite a while too, canon t3i. I used that thing untill it truely wasn't cutting it. But you can use it for quite a bit longer, saving you potentially a couple thousand dollars.
The way that I maximized it's usefullness was to do mosaic images. Where it's like a panorama, but rather than doing just a single row of images, I shot maybe 3 photos horizontally and 3 vertically, making images larger than 60mp easily. You could even try shooting a horizontal panorama with your camera set vertically, which will drastically increase the resolution of your image. Of course this only really applies if you're shooting still subjects.
The other option, which I still use to this day, is alien skins program called blowup 3. It's a photoshop plugin that only deals in resizing images to a larger size. rather than sampling pixels and guessing like other resizers do, it actually breaks your image into small vector shapes and resizes along the lines, retaining sharpness to larger sizes. It's not perfect, but works well, and to the average person, they won't know what's going on.
How large are you trying to print, Anon?

What are you talking about? The a9 is $4500.
I moved from canon to the sony A7r. It certainly has it's flaws, but for everything that I do, it's perfect. And it's relatively inexpensive now
