I wanted to make a separate thread for this because i think this is a big question. As the subject states were comparing ok body with great glass vs great body ok glass. I currently have a canon 6d with a 16-35 f4l is and am selling it today for 2500 maplebucks to see what i can do. The zoom range isnt enough for me and i just want a little more reach but also thinking about switching to nikon because my fiancee has nikon with some glass.
So heres the question. Whats the best lineup i can get into for 2500 in your opinion. I shoot travel landscape car meets and street photo. Was originally thinking to pick up this mint nikon d750 with a 35mm and save the 500 to pick up a 70-200 f4 non vr but wanted to see what others think.

Was also thinking of picking up a used v1 70-200 2.8 vr for 1300 and a sigma art 50mm but that only leaves me with 500 for a body. Can i get anything for that?
Shameless selfbump

Have you sold it yet?
In your shoes I'd keep everything and buy a fast prime and some grad filters, but I can't into telephoto so the appeal of a 70-200 is lost on me.
Option 1 sounds better, but 35mm isn't wide enough based on what you've posted.

>I wanted to make a separate thread for this because i think this is a big question.
It's literally not. It's a question that's been answered time and time again and there are shittons of websites with plenty of examples.
>As the subject states were comparing ok body with great glass vs great body ok glass.
No, you're a self important shit who can't use the gear thread.

Literally don't give a shit.
>So heres the question.
Thought you said this thread was about ok body+great glass vs great body+ok glass? Oh yeah, you're a lying self-important shit who thinks a vapid "important" question can lead to your retarded assed "what lens should I buy" question.

I'm thinking the best is finding some old 70s era shit super telephoto so when you shove it up your ass there'll be more opportunity for it to cause fatal damage.

Not as rude as thinking that you're special enough to ignore board conventions while being disrespectful of other people's time by not doing the most basic levels of research before writing up some long-winded post that amounts to "I'm too lazy to google, do it for me".

Ask yourself this. Does a woman want a man with a great body and an average lens, or an average body with a GREAT lens? You're welcome.
