Keep going OP, I'm waiting on the scans of a couple of rolls from a skiing trip so this is very familiar. Any tips on shooting snow scenes in less than ideal weather? Do you use any sort of weather sealing on the camera/lens? Any filters?

Idk, I usually shoot +1 in snowy conditions, +2 if extremely bright.
Many of these were shot on the mju without exposure compensation, and they mostly turned out okay I guess.

I've never had an issue with snow or rain in my cameras, seems they were built to last.

If you mean the one over his left eye, I did think about that, but decided against. I like one is much more prominent than the other, it makes me look at it again at least. I'll have a play around and see if I can make the other one more opaque without it looking like shit, just for fun tho.

I have to disagree with this. I took one in landscape orientation too, and I don't like it half as much. It was near whiteout conditions, and there isn't much else to see. I like it like it is, and think it feels more immersive.

Agreed. I only had my Mju at hand for this, but I'd like to have had a 50mm or so. Couldn't get any closer without falling into the river.

It may sound obvious but you've got too much foreground snow/dead space in a lot of these. I want to see more of those beautiful mountains and skies. Sticking your subject into the corners is an easy way of conveying scale.

I enjoyed these photos, they're a nice record of your trip(s?) and work well as an article documenting the adventure.

But you've posted way, way too many photos of very similar, often boring subject matter and the result is that even the interesting ones get forgotten. The net feeling that's a viewer is left with is mediocrity.

It seems a shame to post them all when if you'd only posted a select few, the impression left on the viewer would be so much better

I realise you usually reject this criticism but a lot of these photos are similar in subject matter to photos I'll take using my phone and keep because they make me happy. What kind of camera they were shot on and whether they're film or digital adds zero value.
