Anyone else suddenly have your Adobe programs start taking a massive shit on you after the latest Windows update?

if you are a heavy user, you'll see that something in the adobe suite is always taking a giant shit. it's a way of life.

I'm used to that. Slowdowns are a way of life, especially when using Lr for anything remotely heavy because it still fucking only supports a single core for some infernal reason.
No, what happened today was while batching around 300 images, I get a pop up that informed me that due to high memory usage, windows was doing me the favor of closing a program to prevent possible data loss, it then closed Lr, and I not only lost progress on that batch, but all of the work I had done in that session.

If the only thing you've encountered up until now are slowdowns, you are either lucky or not driving the software very hard. Also Lightroom has always been shit.

I think you misunderstand, it has crashed on me before, but that's Lightroom taking a shit. This time WINDOWS chose to shut down Lr.

See, this is the bullshit. I knew if I fucked with it enough I'd make it happen again. This is a goddamn lie. You can't cancel out of it.
>>3065236
After that, pick either choice (cancel or close), and about 45 seconds later, BSOD (various reasons given for the crash). Takes down the entire computer. This isn't the slowdown or lockup it did prior where opening task manager, killing Lr gets you right as rain again. Every fucking time I've gotten what would have been a slowdown prior to this last update, the fucker now crashes instead.

Do you have a page file set up, regardless of amount of RAM? Also, Winshit uses that message for VRAM as well, make sure your GPU is up to scratch.
