I feel like the whole mobile aspect of Instagram makes it shit.
First you take photos with camera, then you move them to PC to edit them and then you move them to phone so you can upload them on Instagram.

Definitely daily, by what I've seen consistency is key when starting out since people won't just follow you out of nowhere - they want stuff in return. Also if you dare - let Instagram follow your friends on Facebook so you build a small following to start off with peeps that like your shit.
Then try and like/comment the shit out of your favorite instagrammers with the same style aswell as hashtags such as #madrid if you take pics of that city.

You can already pinch to zoom on Instagram so the argument that you can see closer by clicking each image isn't even valid, it isn't even setting ur feed apart because that shit is so common and cliche now.
