I have the possibility of buying a Nikon 35ti at 290€ (around 310$) in working condition and pretty descent look. Is it a good deal ?

Ok... litteraly notwhat I asked, but thanks ! I take note.

Why would you buy a brick of a compact that's shiny and expensive enough to always fill you with doubt and hesitation to put it to work in conditions where compacts are actually intended to be used?
Get a Mju or a Yashica T. That Nikon, Contax T, Minolta TC and the like are nice little toys for rich people of the yesteryear for taking some light poolside snaps.

this thread again?

It's about as good as 90s point and shoot go and it's much better value when compared to something like Contax T2/3. It's also fairly robust when compared to some other similar cameras from that era. However I'd rather get a Contax T rangefinder for that kind of money but ymmv.

>Get a Mju or a Yashica T
Nah, especially late model Yashica prices are so inflated right now that you'd be a fool to buy one from ebay etc. You can get a much nicer metal bodied fixed lens point and shoot like the Nikon Ti, Rollei AFM35 or Ricoh GR for the same kind of money.

>Spending over 100 euros on some plastic toy
Why do people do this shit?
>>3056558
But why tho yashica price is inflated?
>>3056811
terry tax
>>3056565
Cuz they don't make cameras dis sexy anymore. At least not for anything around a couple hundred. And yes it's stupid and yes I have to keep telling myself that so I don't waste money and collect them all.
>>3056565
so rather spend over 1000 euro on a magnesium-alloy toy?
Any 35mm compact that not too expensive and still able to be repaired?
>>3058537
Lomo LC-a or olympus trip/pen.
>>3056197
you can buy a nex6 for that price
>>3058597
OP here. Man, I don't get you.
Of course I can buy a nex 6 with 300€... But I also can by a PS4... That is a stupid comment man.
Of course If I'm willling to spend 300€ in a film camera, MAYBE, I would like to have a camera which use films ?
Because for 300€ I also can buy a phone that do pictures... Man, I don't get people like you...
You spend 120€ for a book ? Wow, you can have a cheap pad for this price ! fucking same thing
>>3056843
Still OP here. Yes, this is probably stupid, but I can afford it.
And yes, I wanted this camera (btw I bought it) because it's sexy. One week today and I still don't regret it.
