This photo sucks. If you want to try to salvage anything from it, crop out half or more of the sky, make it black and white and grainy, turn up contrast and you will have something that at least evokes emotion in hipsters. But better idea, shoot a subject that isn't so boring.

I like the framing of the house, but that doesn't save this from being a dull image to me. Maybe if there was some depth to the wheat, or if it were sharper, it would be more eyecatching. The birds also should ideally be entirely in the image, as it is it's a little off having half of two birds in the frame.
Appreciate any thoughts on my own photo, especially post-processing, which was a very different process on this image than on most for me.

This stage looks bad ass. That lady could have been a stand in so we could have seen how the exposure is on the band, cuz some areas look a little overexposed (the cymbals) but as long as you don't have any super albino white people like powder, you should be good.

Here's a similar shot, but with the orchestra on stage. In the unedited version, their faces are all very overexposed and the image is terrible. It's tough to get the lights around the stage to be bright and colourful, without blowing out the faces on the stage. This edit is my best effort, but I'm not 100% satisfied with it. By trying to get the subjects on stage to an acceptable level of detail, I feel it looks a little unnatural, like it's been overprocessed. But the alternative is worse.

I love this shot but as mentioned, your chandeliers in front are fucked. Maybe you could apply the perspective fix to the bottom 2/3 and keep the chandeliers top part original to paste on top? Don't know how well that would work, maybe the diagonal lines on the roof won't line up. Not sure what the best solution is cause those chandeliers are actually pretty cool and the largest ones we can see best, but they're fucked. On the other hand, the perspective fixing creates a great feel among the pews.

Meh. The plane is too dark to see any interesting detail. If I'm looking at an underside of a plane in the sky it better look pretty damn slick, maybe an interesting paint job or some odd design I haven't seen before. This is a fighter jet with mostly only the outline visible. Snapshit imo.

The power lines are distracting, the street lamp is placed in an odd spot compositionally, and there are some random ugly two sort buildings on the right half. Sorry but this is snapshit. To take advantage of that sky you'd want to have a different lens -- something very wide and crisper than what you used. Looks like a phone photo.

This one is great, really sharp and detailed. The composition isn't brilliant but it just works, pleasing to the eye to have this blank space on the right side to draw attention to the center and left. Still would probably be better in colour.

Snapshit, imo. Either get closer to him and have him as a bigger part of your shot, or take the scene without him in it. As it is, he's in it, distracting but too small to add anything. For a shot for friends to add to social media or something it's fine and probably cool to show his friends he was there. For photography it's not ideal. Cool rocks tho.

Like this one a lot. You captured this sense of motion in a large open space and it puts me right into the scene. Also the colours are great. I'm guessing it's half luck with his jacket/hood/bag being colourful, and half good processing. Well done. Would be better if the snow was more obvious, but not sure how you could have done that, I struggle with this myself.

Sadly I struggled with the purple corners in these, this is a voigt 15mm on an a7ii and typically gives me horrible purple corners, so I just slam it to B&W and collect likes on instagram.

Yeah they're just snapshits to supplement the CC. The jet went by too fast for a good photo and I just wanted to capture the sky in the other ones.

I just spent about 5 minutes on this but I think this is way better than the BW version. For me the purple isn't noticeable. On top left and right I'd just assume it was the cloud pattern. I did actually crop the top part off just for composition purposes. Bottom corners look fine to me, but maybe others disagree, and they can comment. Have a look.

Underexposed, not enough contrast, not enough colour. If the green bits of evergreen would pop out it would be more pleasing. A bright red jacket would draw us to the skiers in the car in front of you. You could have also composed it differently -- if it's possible to stretch your hand to the middle between the two lines you'd have that parrallel line effect, could be interesting. Or if you had a longer lens, having the skiers in the car in front as a much larger portion of the shot could have saved this as well. As it is, nothing interesting or redeeming about it. Scene had potential.

Pretty good, but the ground part is letting you down. Sky is so beautiful and then you've got this blurry overexposed bit, some blurry dark trees, and at the very bottom some very dull rocks. It again has great atmosphere and that little tweak where the third room has light in it, but some more points of interest would be great to differentiate it from just a njce snapshot.

Kind of cool, and worth shooting. I don't like that the snails are quite plain in colour compared to the bush they're on. You try desaturating yellows and greens a bit to draw them out more.
The composition is alright but could be better. Having them in the centre works with the framing on the top and right, but then on the bottom right there is nothing to keep the eyes on the frame. Not bad comp overall but could be better.

you're mostly not doing anything in photography every, anyway. you didn't make the cool landscape or the cool building and you didn't make the girl hot, or her tits big, or her legs tight. it just is, and you capture it. you captured this shot well.
diy shows are fun. if somebody else previously went to a diy show and you weren't the first one in history to ever take a photo at one, doesn't mean it's suddenly not fun anymore.
