Does anyone have experience with the Olympus AF1 Twin or the Nikon L35Af?
I can get them both for 25 bucks each but I was only planning on getting one
I realize the L35Af is quite a legendary 35mm point and shoot, by the dual lens setup on the Olympus sounds really interesting to play with.
What would you choose?
Any other recommendations in this class? I found a yashica t5 but it was going for way too much

Buy both, it's 50 bucks you poor cunt.
They'll both be just fine.
That Oly looks dank as hell too.

Batteries for the Twin Oly are worth more than the camera tho lmao

buy both
What about the Olympus Trip 35?
I'm very attracted to the lens, image quality, camera design and the fact that it runs with no batteries.
Buuuut I've never used zone focusing before and I'm not sure if I'm gonna be very successful using it.
Any opinions?

it's a piece of shit, made of cheap stamped metal and has an awful shutter release
stick with the nikon

obviously never used one
I have an AF1-Super (not twin, but I think they share the same 35 mm lens).
Camera makes great photos, very sharp, good autofocus. The only downside is that it's somewhat bulky for a p&s and the film rewind motor is a bit loud.
Olympus-common flash-always-on-auto-until-disabled annoyance is also present.

have an l35af, the main thing I don't like about it is the strong vignetting at fast apertures, and since it's auto, nothing you can do about it. only other minor complaint is close focus is 0.8m, and no indication when it can't focus close enough.

L35Af is great. It was one of the more reliable camera I had until I got my F5. The camera does gets noisy all the time but since it's full auto, there is no learning curve or weird quirks.
Pic related.
