Just found in my local area a Nikon D300 bosy for 200 euros. Is it worth the deal?
Also rate my shot.
Sorry for the typo, meant body.
How long have you been shooting?
It's not a bad shot. A bit dull, but I like it.

I just started learning this art, so around 3/4 months ago. Mostly, My shots come from a borrowed d3100 and my iphone.
>>3053186
I'm cautious about calling it an art. But for 3-4 months it's not bad. Keep shooting.
>>3053193
Thanks man, means a lot.
This is another shot of mine.
>>3053194
In this one the people are a bit too far off to the side for my taste. Also, I would have stepped in a bit closer.
What kind of genre do you want to shoot?
>>3053197
I really like urban photography but also portaits. Thing is I'm really bad at it so I need some books to study from.
>>3053186
i like this shot more without the grafitti maybe you can darken that part out
>>3053203
Mmmh i think the graffiti background gives the sense of perspective tho
I also enjoy snapping sunsets or nature photography but rarely i get good shots with this crap ass phone.

I also started with urban stuff, like urbex and such. It's a fun way to get into photography. Keep shooting, find stuff that interests you, and shoot even if you don't have something really cool at hand.
Also take everything here with a grain of salt. There's tons of 'arteests' here that are pretty cunty about certain types of photography.

Straighten this lol.
>>3053186
D300 uses CF cards which are very hard to find and slow, the D300s uses SD and is a good update to the body and has its place amongst todays cameras.
A used D7000 is a good alternative also.
>>3053217
But the price is very convincing tho
>>3053218
That money would be wasted money.

Continua così, anon. Scatta molto, trova uno stile con cui riesci ad esprimerti al massimo e non arrenderti!

Senz'altro!
i found an eos 450D and a 550D at (respectively) 200 and 285 euros. Which is worth it?
>>3053257
Perchè non una Nikon d3300? Relativamente economica e versatile. Tra le due elencate, la 550d ne esce vincitrice
>>3053271
Sto cercando in giro ma non trovo enormi differenze fra la d3300 e la d550 ... come mai proponi propio quella?
>>3053217
>CF cards are hard to find
They are? The pro D-SLRs still use them and you can find them at most major electronics store. I had no issue finding a couple for my D810.
That said the D300, while a good camera, has pretty meh low light performance and it's a bit low res. I'd look at a used D7000 or D7100 or even a Canon 60D first.
