I plan on visiting in the near future, I live in Ontario. Thanks for sharing
Last one I have. Forgot to post it last night.
These really capture the strange comfort you get from being innawoods in the North. Good shit.
Good stuff. Looks a lot like Norway.
very beautiful :)
Eh, here comes.
>>3050342 Best here, comp is a bit akward, but i like the colors and the feel
>>3050343 snapshit
>>3050344 again, technically very nice, but there's not much that actually catches the eye
>>3050346 i very much dislike these bw-contrasty-slowshutter-waterflows, boring and overused
>>3050348 mixed feelings, kinda boring kinda cool
>>3050350 same as before, a very good shot technically, just a bit lacking in composition
>>3050352 again
>>3050353 once more
>>3050355 see opinion on these bw-s above
>>3050357 snapshit
>>3050358 boring
>>3050359 snapshit
>>3051016 another good pic, mediocre comp
Nice photos altogether, pp done really good (exept those bw edits). Composition has room for improvement.
Thanks for sharing

Follow the train tracks round mang, there's some awesome old rail bridges.

Good feedback with suggestions on my /p/??
Am I dead?
>>3051250
I-I'm sorry...
Getting back to photography myself, I liked the shots but can see room for improvement, thought I'd share.
They remind me of my shots actually, I'm sort of getting to the point where I can do consistent and decent pp, but due to poor composition most of them lack aesthetic value, not much of a problem when doing snaps on a hike etc, but it's still nice to develeop one's skills.

Thanks guys.

Op here, thanks for the good critique (refreshing to see on /p). You pretty much highlight my thoughts exactly. I don't shoot landscape ever, and want to practice before a trip to Alaska. If anyone could point me to a site or video that can help with landscape compositions it would be appreciated.

Hopefully going back to Ladner Creek trestle bridge on the Coq this weekend. Probably my favorite one in the area.
>>3050346
I liked this one but the lack of colour kills it for me. Did you darken it in post?
>>3051730
I believe I turned the shadows and darks up on it. I used silver efx, it was my first time using it.
>>3051737
If you can, I'd suggest instead restoring and slightly enhancing the colours, I feel like it's a bit dark and loses some detail. Alternatively, turn the shadows down a bit.
>>3051744
Im always nervous about b&w with landscape, it's so easy to Ken Rockwell it. I'll give it a try though.
>>3051750
Nervous about color, sorry.

Like with most things related to photography, two of the things that help the most are, first, looking at good photos (and concentrating on their comps), second, shoot, review, erase, rinse and repeat.
