Im trying to get a shutter count from a camera and the seller gave me pic related. Some websites claim to be able to give you the shutter count when you upload an image but
https://www.camerashuttercount.com/
and shuttercounter.com/
(top google results) failed read the shutter count when I uploaded the jpg. How do I find out how many pictures the camera has taken? The camera is Nikon D810, I apoligise for not resizing but I upload the image for its EXIF information and not viewing.

Are you the guy who was worried that a used d810 would "explode" in the other thread?
Chances are pretty good you'll be fine. I almost exclusively buy used cameras anymore. Let the other guy eat the massive depreciation that comes with new bodies.
If the camera doesn't exhibit any obvious signs of abuse (scuffed black paint on the bottom skid paint is fine, I'm talking dents and loose pieces), if all the dials spin smoothly and change the numbers like their supposed to, if the shutter button depresses smoothly with no jank, you're gonna be fine.

Picasa stripped most of the EXIF data including the shutter count.
So that picture is worthless for that purpose.

Here faggot
Tell him to email you a raw file. Picture must be of a nesspaper from this week.
There you go, upload the surely recent raw file to that website and you'll get all the info you need (camera serial number, model, shutter count, etc.)

I googled, seems like the Digic 6 and 6+ cameras have some annoying barrier to show shutter count.
APT doesn't show it

...why would they do such a thing?
