Not really fair to say favourite given how few I've looked at but I do consistently enjoy this one.

>>3048331
Yes I have the new Gronsky book. I think I posted a similar thread a couple months ago and it was recommended to me. I also have the book Formations which is nice.
Do you have any favourites from the catalog?

Hey, thanks for the recs.
Haven't seen Pastoral anywhere though I've looked at it in my university's library.
Think I'll grab the provoke book

I just came back from japan i brought a few books over there. Pretty stoked with the ones i got.
I know this isn't quite related but can someone suggest me some good, relevant books on the business of photography? Or least point me in the right direction of a good blog?

Looks like you picked up a shitty book from vanguard

>Over a period of three years, Kawashima made over 30 trips to the country taking more than 7 million photographs during his trips.
>more than 7 million photographs

>>3048956
>more than 7 million photographs
lmao that's 6393 photos every fucking day for 3 years straight, who's he trying to fool exactly?
post something, you literally illiterate plebs.

this is my most recent pickup. It's about a kind of traditional low-class bar scene, with working class people, alcoholics, ex convicts etc. that is dying in the modern age. I don't normally like portraiture that much, but these pictures are great

>Daido is just special.
hes the only photographer id like to have a talk with. hes actually interesting, like some sort of poet or philosopher.
>>3050733
by the way, did you catch that contest where you had to send a question and the winner question would be asked in an interview to daido?
Does anyone else scan all their books? I can never find torrents and I have no idea where to post my scans either. I feel like if more people started posting their stuff it wouldn't be prohibitively expensive to read photo books.
>>3050745
not happening, lad.
>>3050744
shitty fanboy.

>>3050748
Why not? People have scanned practically every comic book ever. Movies and music are shared freely online. Why should photo books be left out?
