Would you say this camera is front-focused, or back-focused?

just get a mirrorless.
non of this problem.
>focus nearer
>does it get worse
>???
>figure out if it's front or back
I dont know if it's the same for all cameras, but that'd be front focused on my nikons.

>mirrorless rangefinder camera
>turn a screw until infinity object is aligned
>infinity focus fixed in a few seconds
if only SLRs were this easy

They are. I noticed my split prism wasn't matching the AF confirm on my F4. All I had to do was adjust the mirror down rest stop with a hex key to line it back up. The F4 makes it easy with a MLU of course.

>put on 300mm lens
>oh no, wat to do??
>focus closer than one meter
>oh no, wat to do??
just admit it, you are compensating for something.

Are you having a stroke?

Should I go for the F4 meme? I've already a F3.

No, it's a fucking terrible camera whose only redeeming features are A) Being a single digit camera (built like a brick shithouse/blunt tool), and B) being the most compatible Nikon ever when equipped with a split prism screen.
The autofocus is a single line type sensor, nowhere nearly as dependable as a F90X's cross type. The motors, winding and focus, are noisy. It's heavy in the F4s configuration, with a vastly subpar grip about the size of the a6000's for a camera that probably weighs 3 times as much. The finders are fun to play with, MLU is nice, I used mine to hammer in a sign post I removed for a shot once, and it was nice to own a piece of Nikon history for a little bit. Got mine at an auction for $80 in a suitcase full of other random stuff, sold the F4 for $180 a year later. I would never pay going rates for one.
