I dont know shit about photography but i found this lens fully packaged and in pristine condition, i tried looking up cannon 50mm lens but thats hella broad, im tryna fingure out the exact model and price if anyone can help out, or would it be worth it to just use it myself like i said ion really know shit about photography but i make music videos and recaps of events my friends play right now i just have a stollen like vixia hand held camcorder but the quality is ass https://youtu.be/RJy-v3LzI0k this one i shot using it im trying to get a hold of a good dslr camera for videos if possible im looking for one for undee 350, and if i dont end up selling the lens would it work if i just bought a camera body without lens and just used that?

it's a Canon 50mm f1.7 lens
Everything you need to know is etched on the lens right there.
Minimum aperture is f/1.7 so it's decent.
Look up Canon 50mm 1.7 on ebay and you'll see the general price for it.
If it's in mint condition with packaging then sell high.

Jeezus OP it literally took me like 30 seconds to find. Its a Canon 50mm f/1.4 LTM used for Leicas. If you got a Leica (which i doubt you would from reading your post) then you could use it on that, otherwise looks like you could sell it for between $200-$400.
