You certainly got what you paid for.

Yep, the abberation is pretty crazy, even a phone camera is better
pretty funny, it's like an old webcam but portable. or like one of those nokia phone cameras before we had proper smartphones.
pretty shit quality of course but i'm certain in 15 years this digital noise and abberation is the new cool retro look

>early digital will be retro
I don't think so.
At the moment retro is analog because artists used that kind of stuff to work with. They didn't switch to digital until recently.
Analog will remain vintage for long

just use your phone.

Well yeah but I know how good of pictures my phone takes, I don't know what kind of pictures a $30 camera you can buy in lots of 300 from alibaba if you want take pictures like.
Poor gearfag thread?
Poor Gearfag Thread.
As you can see from the photo, I'm a noob at this picturetaking business still, so I got some old commie Industar lenses, but the MFD is really far. They're OK for 40$ though, I think.
Was considering a fujian 35mm f/1.7 for taking closer shots of things (indoors, small objects, etc) or one of these weird "ABL Corp" 8mm f/2.8 C-mount lenses I found, since both are about 20 bucks and share the same adapter.
Possibly considering a less-cheap fujian 35mm f/1.6 or neewer 35mm, but uncertain about them.

LOL looks like you got a Fuji. Image quality is exactly the same
