I'm switching to Linux, do you know some programs as an alternative to lightroom and premiere?

sudo apt-get install rawtherapee darktable ufraw libimage-exiftool-perl geeqie gimp gddrescue

doh
not : gddrescue
but yes : testdisk (for recovering sdcards)
and I guess blender would be for the premier stuff.
There is various dedicated video editing programs like handbrake and kdenlive, but your mileage will vary. I run Kubuntu, so being written fairly specifically for Ubuntu they tend to crash or be rather feature-poor.
Blenders video component is pretty seriousbusiness by comparison.
Also try darktable as Rawtherapee alternative.
For video editing / animation there is a series on how Blender can be used for this: https://youtu.be/xSGIPmQdV6M

I just wanna try to switch Linux whitout a dual boot, money doesn't matter in this case

PS: If all fails, there is still wine and virtualisation - which is a good way to run Windows if you must.

don't
no advantages over macos or windows

> No advantages
Yea, there is no particular advantage for JUST editing photographs. But other than that, there are many advantages.
Managed packages even manage user software, making keeping everything updated easy.
Much better software RAID or even cloud filesystem support. Much better support for running application containers. Actual ease of creating and maintaining backups for your data and even your OS. And a lot more like that.
No MS botnet, no Apple-you-have-no-privacy policy, no Adobe SaaS pay us what we want bullshit.
Much more future-proof overall than either of the other OS'. You can largely run the same software you were accustomed to in the 1990 if you want, with few exceptions.
And many more things. It's certainly not nothing. But the trade-offs are often too big for the same people that will just be pushed onto Adobe CC, Windows 10, Dropbox, Office 365 and whatever else thing will be owned and managed extensively or entirely by someone else, without a longer term contract to actually secure your own interests.

botnet meme lol bringing that up is redundant, all os's have backdoors, if you're that concerned, processors have backdoors too so that botnet arguement is pointless to bring up.
>futureproof
cmon man
>owning software
pirate software
windows 10 has a sub fs for ubuntu, runs ubuntu fine
macos does everything you need
don't attend to which fs is better or which which os has freedom to change a taskbar or whatever, that is redundant, windows and macos make productivity a lot easier and produce higher quality
i understand this thread was made not for advice on OS but that is the only issue here.

Redundant? No.
1. Nobody has a license contract allowing them to legally invade your privacy and grab data from YOUR Linux.
Meanwhile, Apple and Microsoft both have it in their contracts.
2. Prove there are working backdoors on Linux or your hardware that anyone less than a national government can actually exploit. (I don't think we're trying to secure ourselves against national governments here, PLUS they're at least very unlikely to sell your privacy to third parties or such.)
> macos does everything you need
Maybe it does? I say it only applies if you don't need any privacy or control.
The privacy policy and other license conditions make it clear Apple can sell or transfer or disclose virtually anything you do on their products in one or another way. There aren't any particularly public instances where they've done it, but they can.

Who says we're worried about targeted APT malware from three-letter agencies using hardware vulnerabilities here? I'm concerned about much more basic stuff. I find it creepy and unacceptable that Microsoft and Apple want to collect data on the programs I use and how I use them to run targeted-advertising programs. I want my computer to obey me, not some marketing focus group in Redmond.
Gimp and Darktable. Gimp also has a ufraw plugin.
Darktable is my favorite Lightroom like Linux software.
I like photivo.
virtual machine + lightroom
hands down
the best
