Sure, but it also makes it easier when you're less experienced. Skating is a lot of falling so I'm only going to get one shot and having a fisheye gives room for minor mistakes or framing issues to be fixed in post as well as allowing me to get everything in the shot without having to be way back and have other people in the way.

Fuji don't make irrelevant lenses fampai, get the Samyang for all your sk8 boi needs.

I wouldn't worry too much about the quality of the lens, if you're shooting close enough to justify that wide an angle it's going to take some hits.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure you're 100% going to want to shoot with flash too
