How can I take good pictures of cars at night?
I see a lot of pictures of cars taken at night and they look incredible, but mine always come out grainy or blurry as shit.
Is it because there's not enough lighting?
Yes, their photo has been probably taken in a large city like Tokyo, because of the pollution in the air it has more electric particles = more light in your photos

I know this is a joke, but:
1. This is in Victoria, Australia. I also live in Victoria, Australia.
2. Tokyo doesn't have pollution in the air. You're confusing Japan with China.

full frame sensor digital camera + very low aperture lens like a 1.4 shot wide open with a good LED white light street lamp or brought their own lights

But how are you able to get the full car in focus at such a shallow depth of field due to the wide open aperture?? I assume you'd couldn't be wide open and have to have good ISO capabilities while also using a tripod and long exposure? Someone else please weigh in if I'm wrong here.

longer exposure with a smaller aperture and a tripod.
