sony cameras are globally meh.
sure they are ok and make some decent results but overall compared to the competition they are very meh.
and thats just the high end ones.
the a6000 and its brethren are all mediocore, combine that with a shit selection of lens, its bad.
Snag yourself a nice olypmus, nikon, canon, whatever it may be. just try and avoid sony

literally its a glorified point and shoot with dslr controls crammed into a tiny body, also no lenses. also the evf sucks compared to using a real pentaprism
if you want a real camera look for an entry level nikon or canon, and eventually get good glass as you progress, doing this will last you years to come.
