Pretty bland, just nothing interesting

>>3036475
What's the subject supposed to be here? The skyline or the concrete pillar?

>>3036476
I can tell you're going for one of those shoe brand placement photos you see on instagram, except theres nothing really interesting below you

>>3036477
This one is kinda cool. Basically no compositional points for this one, but its a cool concept, and I think the colors are pleasing for the most part.

I'd say overall, learn to pick a subject and learn how to accentuate that subject using the scene.

>>3036487
can you give me examples of this technique?

Here's an example where the tattoo artist and his customer are the subjects. As you can see, instead of just taking a pic of just the both of them, i place something between us to accentuate it. imagine the pic without the lamp and equipment. Would be pretty bland, wouldn't it?

It's the sony a7s, it has a 12mp sensor so it can give a full 4k readout when recording 4k. Because it has fewer MP than something like an a7r (36mp) each pixel takes up a larger area on the sensor, allowing for more light to be absorbed by each pixel. This makes it have a better signal to noise ratio, which basically means it has better capability at high ISO. I'd say the a7s is more of a video oriented camera, but still great for photography too.

This is photo can kind of illustrate how you can use the scenery to accentuate the subject. The subject in this photo is either the bridge or the empire state building, whichever you like better. But notice the lines on the buildings on the right and left they both have lines that point in towards the subject, and naturally lead your eye towards the center.

I'm not saying it has to be leading lines, there are many other compositional ways you can get your subject to stand out. And I'm not shitting on your photos, they simply need a subject to make them more interesting. Like the OP for example, you could have stood in between those two bridges which would have created some leading lines towards the center, and maybe you could have waited for the right moment for a boat to sail through the center?

so he should stand in the middle of the water?

No, I assume the bridges reach a shore at some point. Just stand on the shore facing the shore on the other side of the bridge
