Yesterday got to see an expo from the John Kobal foundation, did see some old photos from Hollywood stars in there, come home and take a look on some of them on the web, what /p/ think about this old portraits, the illumination and poses used?

This one in kinda funny, they made - at last, it look to me, maybe someone here will say that it was all correct - such a mess in this one, they used a lot of her image of an Asian stereotype, and put her on this visual. It looks it come from Piccadilly that was before the Hayes Laws the DVD of this movie has a paint of her semi-nude on it's cover. The background looks kinda cartoonish but the lumination works well, but really can give an opinion about the pose.

Thank you for the link, but is about see what people think about this photos, they could be used to inspire in today portraits? Some had kinda bizarre backgrounds - normally to remember the movies - some kinda surprise how they could work soo well at that time like this one where they use lights to make a big shadow of Humphrey Bogart - to show danger maybe.
only 2 of them here are glamour shots. even humphrey looks amazing holding 2 guns
its all abought light, medium to large format camera and a star with the best makeup clothes and name
