just buy some cheap fujifilm shoot it and get it processed at cvs walgreens, then take negatives scan them into computer and mess with them on lightroom, whatever you took will look amazing

Except those places don't return negatives anymore. You get a Kodak PictureCD instead with really shitty ~1200dpi negative scans that have tons of moiré effects all over them.

Find a dedicated photo lab that still returns negatives, and then scan them or have them scanned with a dedicated film scanner set to at LEAST 2400dpi (flatbed scanners are shit, even with film adapters)
