Just right now I was thinking about trying to change the color of my flash, anyone have tried doing that?
My plan was to tape over some thin colored yellow paper over the flash.

Couldn't find stuff about doing this, so this isn't a thing?

Wouldn't that make shots in the dark where you need a flash way better with a more comfy color tone and it would also act as diffuser.

depending on flash output, you can improvise with all sorts of shit. Don't wrap candy wrappers around powerful flashes shooting 1/1, but a wrapper from a red hot (translucent red) or a butterscotch (translucent yellow-orange) works great over a pop-up flash or at low power.
