I don't really know how AF-C is supposed to perform, honestly.

If that camera allows it though, you'd probably be better served shooting aperture priority with auto ISO if it lets you choose a minimum shutter speed. Some of yours have dipped below 1/250 and that's generally about as slow as you can get away with if you're running and gunning and you're dealing with moving subjects.

Don't worry about the gear. Keep taking pictures. To be blunt, none of these fit any popular idea of pleasing or good. But that's OK, you will keep taking pictures and they will get better.
