It is. Before I'd been shooting film and a Fuji X-E2. Sold those to invest in a full drame DSLR system. Pentax had rave reviews on their K1 and it's half the cost of Canon/Nikon competition. The lenses aren't really “vintage”, they're F/FA. Pretty good stuff, just not with “digitally optimized” coating. Black and white is my favorite, and yes, it's digital.

i think so. i get the impression im looking at a shiny polish applied to different images, like a demo for a preset, images dont seem important, get it? the grossly outlined finish sort of distracts you from the actual -supposed- subjects.

Strongest in set. But like the other guy said, shadow recovery is a bit heavy on this one given that your whites are nowhere near as bright as they should be. This flattens the image out, which is the wrong tradeoff because there's nothing much interesting about the stones compared to the flow of water (since it's a waterfall picture, we're looking at the water).

Shame about the branches on the right, and the trunk in the right bottom corner. A cleaner composition that didn't interrupt the topmost flows would've made this better.
