1. Use a camera with a large sensor.

Buy a GR and use VSCO.
Shoot with a foveon sensor
Proper exposure

Slide them sliders. One of the reasons why I hate shooting digital really.

Lots of colour grading in C1.
Blue shadows, red midtones, a touch of emerald in the highlights, select specific colours and change their hue and lightness...basically have fun.
Don't forget to start with good colours in your scene.

You can't. People will tell you that you can edit a digital photo however you want but even in movies filmed on the best cameras and lenses in a controlled environment by a great director and cinematographer edited by some of the most skilled people you can almost instantly tell it's digitial. It just never looks as pleasant as film.
>>3019925
They said pleasant not, not film.
>>3019925
That's just your confirmation bias kicking in.
Can you really tell the difference between Skyfall and the rest of the Craig Bonds?
>>3019958
Of course I can. I mean it still is a good looking movie but looks more flat.
>>3019979
Kek, bullshit mang.
>>3019980
Well for me something like this looks clearly digital.
>>3019988
Or this.
>>3019989
Or this.
>>3019991
Or this.
But again... I am not saying that the movie was bad looking. It's just that it was clear it was not film. And I am sure it's not only because of lack of film grain.
>>3019993
and, again, op said pleasant not film
>>3020004
Pleasant and film is synonymous.
