Do not, under any circumstances buy a GH5 for photos. Even the shitty Olympus is a better option.

Hey man, when it comes to night shooting the A76 II's ISO is top notch. Even the GH5 won't be better at night shooting from what I can tell.

gx8 has the same sensor and similar video quality in a smaller form factor and costs less than half as much. is what your getting in the gh5 worth twice as much money? not to me but to each their own. For that price id probably go for a larger sensor for better low light.

yeahhh i know its nice but the international gx8 is 620 bucks has the same sensor is weather sealed is smaller and takes the same lenses it has a mic port and the screen swivels.. the gh5 is 2000 dollars... just saying if i was gonna spend 2k on just a body id probably go for something with a bigger sensor

Obviously not the camera for you if these aren't the thing you consider.

I don't like the size. As an GX8 user, I'd like to wait for GX9 that has same shutter as G80 and the video IBIS, but also retains tilt EVF. But yeah 2k for a m43 camera is too much of premium in my book, especially since I don't do video regularly. I just need a good camera for my 100-400, and something to stabilize the 15 1.7 prime on video.
