also - as a pair of fashion photographs the idea is to show off the clothing and make it look appealing, right? i assume you didn't dress this guy, so no criticism on the actual outfit itself (though it certainly has some major issues lmao), but i would have liked a third shot that gives us a clearer view of the shirt(s). like a front-on shot of him pulling the coat back by putting his hands in his pants pockets, maybe?

No actualy I didn't, did try tot get that feel. I used channel mixer (in photoshop) to make it really red and then balance it out with the blues and the greens (gives a really nice contrast and colour) then just play around with other things and threw some grain over it to kinda gives it that film look.

Think it would've been better had you removed the horizontal blade of grass as well as those in front of the subject. But I suppose you took this in the late afternoon when insects are still very active so that probably wasn't an option?

I've got several friends who are excellent wildlife photographers, and when they go out to shoot insects, they go in the early hours of the day when insects are still lethargic from the nightly cold, allows you to remove bothersome vegetation without disturbing the subject. Everything's covered in dew as well, making things look even better.

I don't really know where to look at here, whats the subject? Also maybe try black and White in my opinion the green and the yellow don't particularly go great with the colour of the sky. I also think the light seen under the tree line is a little disturbing. I think that if you make the subject a little more apparent and try the things I just mentioned it would be a good picture, I like your other pics tho.

I'm pretty sure I fucked up the color profile which the makes the picture look a bit odd, I was just trying to make his old skin more prominent

Well her colors match the color of the wall and I cannot crop her without losing the whole effect of the image, there were a lot of distracting elements right in front of her so I took the picture like that.
