Just kidding. Hopefully you can get some brighter shots up soon, it's definitely a much more portable camera than a dslr.
Question though, you said that you already shoot film, why don't you use an older film compact instead? They're really cheap and they seem to take much better pictures than most compact digitals.
I got one a couple of weeks ago too, loving it so far
As far as presets go, the only one I really like is the high contrast B&W, the rest are kind of meh. I really like the low light capabilities (especially coming from a Rabal), giving me decent ISO performance at 3200 and sometimes even at 6400.
Also the WiFi is pretty great if you try to post pictures on social media on the go. The "app" (which is really just a website on your smartphone) can be a bit iffy though and oftentimes you have to actually open it with a normal internet connection first and then when it opens, you connect to your GR's WiFi and hit connect

Use it as you would any other camera you used, but keep in mind you can change ISO's any time you want and instantly review focus and exposure.
Learn to process raw files (DNG). Shooting jpegs is like throwing away negatives and keeping prints.
Read the sticky before posting. Next time, post in the gear thread.

Why not just shoot raw + jpeg and keep them both?

You can just export a jpeg from a raw... But if the photo is good, it's an unnecessary step.
