Thanks for the comments. The photo itself is probably ovecooked haha. But as it displays on my screen, thats v close to the colours of the soil through that area. I'll keep it in mind for next time tho.
As for crooked horizons; >>3009332 is a plateau that slops off to the left naturally so I think the photo is accurate as its not a true horizon. Again >>3009334 is on the same plateau, but the photo is looking slighly uphill at a very small ridge which slopes off to the right - however, looking at the photo, it does look crooked so I'll straighten it up (but I think it will still have a bit of slope off to the left when straight).

How should I compose these shots differently? I spend a bit of time thinking through composition, and for the most part I'm happy with it. But I'm always willing to take on board how other people think I should be composing

a lot of your horizon-only pictures look basically the same, there's not enough interest in them for me. You've bumped up the shaprness a bunch but the light usually isn't great and the colors blend together a little too much. It seems like the dull look is a bit of a crutch for when you can't quite figure out how to compose something that you actually like.

seems to be your default when you can't come up with a good framing or subject. maybe that's a bit harsh, I don't hate all of them, but many of them are basically the same concept, and they all look kinda lame and snotty next to the pictures that are actually interesting. also like I said before the processing leaves something to be desired, in >>3009334 I'm just noticing that those yellow flowers are all fucked up (but maybe that's just the resize), in >>3009951 the green grass is not quite distinct enough from the yellow for my taste (but maybe that's a matter of composition)
