Great feel to it, kinda Silent Hill. Have you tried to even out the fog a bit so it isn't so muddy? And maybe play with the leveling? It feels like it tilts to the left in an odd way.

Good photographers don't share their work with pleb, not even forums, they just show it to art consultants or fashion people, what another photographer think about your work doesnt really matter unless its LensCulture or another media dedicated to photography.
Almost no one knows the "studium/punctum" factor in photos, just do your work and earn some money with it.

I took a fair few of varying focal lengths but none like that. Just adjusting how much was captured and different positions

I tried playing around with the focal spot in a previous photo and it didn't work to well, having the spot in the middle kind of confuses the eye and lessens the impact on these frost photos. I like the sharpness of the frost crystals at the front

I want to go to my local beach and take pictures, but I don't know what to shoot? Should I just do the basic shots of the pier heading out to the ocean or are there things people miss that I can take pictures of that will make my pictures stand out?

This is really nice. I wish the car could have been further to the left and the light on the left not there. perhaps try a square crop? The light is very distracting and it's drawing attention over to the left side of the image which is off balance due to that white building

Use your editing software to resize. Generally /p/ fags will pee in their own mouths if you post a pic that isn't 1000 pixels on it's longest side OR less than 1M in file size.

Some will try to tell you it has to meet BOTH requirements, but NO IT DOESN'T.

Personally I'm not a poorfag who can't afford fast internet, so I don't have a problem with people posting unsized images.

I have networked a shit ton on facebook and in person, and have gotten to be friends with a lot of local models and photographers. I have gotten a few shoots just by messaging people saying "hey, I'm a photographer and I'm interested in working with you on a project. Here's my website so you can see what I do."
