yes but if you buy an expensive looking camera, people really believe you are some kind of artistic person and you get invited to all the school event for free to take stupid pictures

If you want autofocus you really have to put out top dollar. Only the cameras that are more than $5000 or so have it. I recommend the Canon 1DX Mark II.
