Hi /p/, some second opinions required on this dilemma.
I took a series of photos a few years ago and they are meant to be a series. The context behind them isn't apparent unless they are all together and in the correct order.
After speaking with another photographer about it I was asked if I'd like to be part of a collaborative book being made, so I submitted them.
Now I am being told that 'some' of them will be in the book.
I'd much prefer the entire series be in there, even as a one page collage. Otherwise I'm thinking I ask not to be part of the book.

I feel like my integrity as an artist is about to be compromised and I don't like that shit.
Am I being too much of a tosser about this?
What would you do?

(Pic somewhat related in that the trees visual aesthetic has been compromised by some stupid power lines.)

hmmm yea i see what you mean that first photo doesnt make sense at all .
>>
>>3002634
Lol.. that photo isn't part of the series I'm talking about.
>>
>>3002636
o well then at least you got that goin for you . hmmm yea i would probably just not publish parts of the series because it might be really embarrassing to be misunderstood lol
>>
you have a bigger problem: youre retarded.
>>
>>3002688
How so? Retards aren't mind readers and need things explained to them.
>>
>>3002632
What do you get out of the book? Do you get a licensing fee? A royalty?

Why not see if you can work out a compromise?
>>
>>3002693
I don't get anything from the book except exposure. Didn't pay anything to be a part of it either.
I could probably whittle the series down from 9 to 3.... Or maybe whatever they are thinking would look better in the book?
Fuck.. It's like splitting children up.
