There are a lot of pictures that shows you the good spots for tourists snaps. Avoid crowdy places like Le Louvre or la place du Tertre (but are great at night). L'arc de Triomphe is a great spot for its aerial view, much like la tour Montparnasse. If you have a tripod, just wandering along the Seine will give you great spot with any bridges and the Eiffel tower.

thanks man. i will try avoid the really touristy spots. id like small narrow streets, old parts, kind of like in the movie midnight in paris, historical sites and artsy spots. angles where light strike beautifully through or onto parts of buildings/areas.. ill def try and go to le louvre at night. montparnasse im keen on checking out as well.. staying close to Seine so that'll be good. and theres a club on a boat on the Saine ill visit too (Batofar)
