Any tips from you guys would mean a lot.
Really could use something easy to understand, I'm not a professional
If you dont mind optimizing Interface yourself: Blender.
If you dont Care about encoding anything above FHD: DaVinci Resolve

After effects isn't good for editing, its mainly used for effects and shit. As far as adobe goes, its Premier Pro for editing.
Davinci resolve is mainly used for coloring the image, but it also does have an editing aspect to it, I've used it for minor tweaks in editing, so I can't say how easy it is editing.
But honestly, try to get Premier Pro, You dont have to fuck around with converting formats, it works with almost any video format, where davinci or final cut pro x has issues with formats.
If you cant spend the money on getting Premier Pro CC through adobe, there are always pirating websites, but spending the money is worth it, because it will always update to accept new file formats.
just my opinion.

Thank you, I can tell you put a lot of thought into this post.
I'm going to go with premiere pro as you recommended.
Thanks again.

imovie
Lightworks has a free version now, but I've got no idea if it's any good. The free version only exports to 1080p.
Outside of the babby apps packaged with computers, most free shit is half broken garbage
Blender is probably the most capable/non broken free one, but it'll take a bit of research to get it set up right.

Blender is capable of doing a lot of really amazing things for video editing, but it's a fucking hassle to get it set up properly. That non-intuitive interface is trash, wish they'd fix it.
What kind of editing? If you're just doing simple cuts to videos from YouTube, Blender is fine. But Adobe Premier Pro is hands-down the best motherfucking video editor I've ever worked with. Highly, highly suggest it.
