http://leicarumors.com/2016/11/11/this-is-the-leica-m10-camera.aspx/
Dedicated ISO wheel/dial on top plate
LED framelines
No movie button on top
0.72x viewfinder (up from 0.68x)
Frame selector
Raised M mount to accommodate the rumored thinner body (3.8mm thinner, think adapter collar built onto a thinner body instead of raising the entire surface area of the camera to meet the flange distance. No more fat Leicas.)
The model name will be M10, no more “Typ” reference (Leica M10 was recently registered in China)
The M10 will probably use the same M 240 battery (7.4V)
Shipping will start in Spring of 2017
24MP sensor (most likely the sensor from the Leica SL/Q)
Max ISO: 50k (just like the Leica SL and the Leica Q)
Bigger control buttons on the back
Slightly bigger LCD screen
Same EVF from the TL camera

>dat shooped label
>dat hilariously janky looking mockup
Fuck you fanboys are thirsty. It's some chinese forum member making shit up to grow his epeen, not a "leak".
I'm still waiting to find a used M8 under $1,000
I want one of those
Oh ya, this is what I was waiting for. They're going to price it sensibly right? They're not gonna fuck up and make the ISO dial the same as the shutter speed dial, right?
More importantly, is it going to push the limits of X sync?
>>2972535
The iso dial is the "film rewind" on the left shoulder of the camera.
>>2972530
Feels like this will be yet another overpriced, underwhelming digital Leica.
>>2972530
Leica can fuck off.
>24MP sensor
Only 5 years behind then.
Wait hold on.
>The first real digital Leica
Were the previous iterations not purely digital?
>>2972622
They weren't real cameras.
>a THIN digital Leica(!)
>modern sensor noise (or lack thereof)
>ISO dial finally
This is basically a perfect Leica M.
With the way Leica seems to have been reorganizing and rethinking its strategy recently, it's not too crazy to expect a somewhat affordable price.too.
>>2972557
12 is enough, 24 is a shit ton, and anything more is just silly.
>>2972557
you do a lot of wall sized printing?
>>2972702
>>2972706
It's good for editing (finer edges, odd transitions in HSL / tonemapping / tone curve / selection get smoothed out when scaled down) and cropping and noise reduction (water color smear of a constant radius is less noticeable on a bigger image).
Rarely will you have a use for a massive image as an end result, but in the pipeline it's handy.
>>2972706
Do you shoot a lot of sports? Do you take thousands of photos of heron catching fish? Then you don't need a Leica M
>>2972630
U wot m8?
>>2972530
>no autofocus
>still costs more than an x-pro2
Must be Leica.
>>2972835
>Fuji
>autofocus
The real king of digital rangefinders was made by a printer and copier company.

Wait, waht?
>>2972853
>http://techartpro.com/
It is not perfect, but it is damn good.
>>2972853
tl;dr -- M-mount lenses have a very short travel between infinity and half-ish meter, so it's possible to set the lens at infinity and then move the adapter back and forth. This works because Sony's native mount is really shallow.
>>2972843
The RD-1 is god and you know it
>>2972997
It's good and certainly unique but it's hardly god
If you build it up to be something it's not you'll just end up disappointing yourself
>>2972842
>The real king of digital rangefinders was made by a printer and copier company.
You mean Canon?
>>2973025
>I said no survivors!
>>2973008
granted the sensor is 12 years old now, a better digital rangefinder has never been made.
the Voigtlander Bessa was a great choice to base the camera on. Leica needs to understand that digital bodies are basically disposable now and don't need to be built to last for 50-100 years like the M3, M2, and MP.
If they released a FF RD2 with proper micro-lenses for wide (ie not the A7 sensor), it would be fucking awesome and a true Leica killer
>>2973791
the RD1 wasn't full frame you stupid posing faggot
>>2973793
He didn't say that you illiterate faggot. He said IF they would release a full frame version. For christ's sake everyone on this board is a shit posting buffoon.
>>2973793
seriously, reading lessons
I really would like to see something innovative from Leica again. That's just kinda boring really. The Q is cool, more stuff like that.
>>2973793
Illiterates like you are the reason the orange guy from the celebrity apprentice has the nuke codes.
Fuck you.
Is this going to cost as much as a car again, just like the SL?

Trump is actually the one candidate who is endorsed by most of the generals in the army and admirals in the fleet. They are all great men who loves their country.
Don't let the leftist media scare you with their fear mongering.
50mm Q when?

Who's the idiot now?
>>2973983
42.1mp Apo-Summicron-Q

Price: 25000 USD.
>>2973791
I agree, I would buy that in a heartbeat, no matter the price
>>2972535
>Leica
>sensible pricing
What a world that would be.
>>2974002
>Who's the idiot now?
You typed to this idiot who was typing to illiterate therefore you?
/snaps photo.

You're lucky I can't read any of this shit.
