I found this piece left out in the rain for an unknown amount of time and I was wondering, is it totally useless now or can it be dried out and be used?

you might be able to dry it out and burn ants with it
but for photography it is useless

Rip, ok thank you.
ps
the lens caps are worth more than that lens
>>2968610
Like, are they actually valuable, or are you just saying the lens is now useless

$10-15 each at the store, $2-5 really. or just nice to have extras if you know someone with a Canon
Dehumidify for a long time, no reason you can't take good photos with it.

It has a certain softness to it but people PP their photos for that now anyway, nothing wrong with it. Plus it was free, you'd be a fool to not use it.

You probably can't use it if you don't know the word "lens".
