I might've posted photos of this power plant in one of these threads before. I honestly can't remember.

Google's Photoscan app works fucking great for scanning Instax, by the way. The only downside is that the filesize caps out at 3 megapixels.

aw hell i needed something like this
thanks anon-sama
Looking into buying an Polaroid, do you have any suggestion ?
I saw a slr-like Polaroid but too damn expensive. I don't want to pay the hipster tax.
Also, I'm worried about the longevity of the prints. Do they deteriorate ?

Typically those cameras with the sonar autofocus are great cameras to own. There's a 600 box type camera with that setting which I enjoy shooting with, but maybe try to grab an SX-70 if the price is good. The best place to buy them is at flea markets, yard sales, goodwill, ebay, and goodwill's auction website.
In terms of Impossible prints, they do start to lose their color after a while. I usually store them in a dark box or a drawer. Maybe consider scanning them immediately so you can preserve it digitally.
I've got a bunch of these to scan but i never do because they always end up looking like shit when I put them on the scanner glass. Anyway better ways you guys know of?

Girlfriend has an Instax 300 Wide. I bumped it against the counter and the shutter fell off. How do i put it back on? I'm afraid to just "click it in" without knowing if thats what you're supposed to do.
>>2969023
Just buy a new one, dummy. You won't be able to fix it.

See any guide holes?
>>2969034
Just one. There is a long, L shaped bit of plastic at the 6:00 of the shutter as seen on >>2969023
It fits into a hole on the camera itself, and everything lines up, but when i try to push it in, I get substantial resistance. I don't know if i'm either doing it incorrectly, or it requires a bit more force to pop it in.

>its cool edition
>can't develop my Fp100's outside
>feels bad man
>>2969037
Maybe it twists a little. Otherwise, wait for girlfriend to look.
>>2968147
Cool thread idea, to bad every time I use my fuxking instax people just NEED to keep the fucking photo.
>>2969222
shoot two. giving away photos is half the fun of instax.
Bought a wide 3hunnid for some fun, I've wasted alot of film so far figuring out the film limitations and camera quirks
>>2969272
>>2969276
At 0.9m-3m the viewfinder is accurate, but when you change to 3m-infinity the viewfinder is quite a bit off
>>2969279
Like here for example, the tree on the left was out of frame when I looked through the viewfinder. Just a tip for anyone who owns or buys one
hey /p/ i'm about to embark a journey of documenting my life 1 picture a day with a fuji film mini8. My question is, is there some experimental tricks can you advice me, i was thinking of putting cellophane paper in front of the lense. like some "experimental" stuff i can do with it
>>2970150
A fun thing to try and do is to put some fucking thought into subject and composition.
You can dick around with cellophane AFTER you do that. This is the photography board.
Do you think Fuji will eventually bring out monochrome film for the Wide format as well? It sort of makes sense for them to skip it, considering the mini is where they're making most of their money.
>>2970181
I sure hope they do. mini is too small for my tastes.
>>2970150
Yeah man! I have a cool method. Try bending the film once it's halfway done developing. Also consider applying heat. Pic related:

I bought an Instax 90 yesterday and it's coming in tomorrow. Can I get some tips please ?
Anyone here own the Lomo Instant Wide? This thing looks based, but the $200 price tag is a fucking joke

>>2971854
Just buy a genuine soviet camera for a tenth of the price
>>2971927
Go ahead and name a genuine Soviet Camera that uses Instax Wide.
What settings do you guys use? I've messed around with the various modes, lightening and darkening, no flash, and almost always the exposure is awful. Do I suck or is this just instant film?
>>2971980
I have an Instax 300 wide, but the optics suck. I modded a Polaroid 110A to shoot Instax wide.
>>2971980
The meters do tend to suck and it's pretty contrasty film, but I've also noticed older film tends to be more finnicky so maybe that's your problem. Sometimes it's just luck and the film can't handle some scenes and lighting.
>>2972125
Yeah I've found in the forest it underexposes to the point where the film looks almost black. I'm not talking dense forest either, I'm talking fairly well lit.
Which version of this should I get? I was looking at the 70.
