Saturation looks fine to me, only thing that really jumps out to me is the bright parts in the plant seems to glow. Adjustment brush + lower white / highlight maybe, perhaps some clarity up or down paired with that to either boost local contrast to make up for the lower highlights or lower it to smooth it out, depending on what happens.

Its a drainpipe against the underside of a roof that was not rotated at all. My goal was diagonal movement and weighting which I've never attempted before. You got the file size down which I'm grateful for but its so long on each side that even on a 27" monitor I can't fit the entire image on screen at once. However, so as to not be entirely useless, I'll attempt to give you at least a little advice.
I agree with >>2966395 that you missed focus on the face which is a very common mistake, just practice and focus hard on, well, focusing. It looks like you used ambient light which can work sometimes but just not this time. Your subject is way too dark and everything from his chest down is a flat black with no detail. Considering that he is slightly underexposed, the fact that somehow the background is still so blown out shows that you put zero thought into the light before you shot this. A flash to fill in the bottom half of him would have helped if you have one but if not then just avoid scenes like this and be more picky about light before settling on a location. I won't tackle composition because as I said I can't see the whole image at one time so I'll just leave it at that.

so i'm not purely a debbie downer, i'll say that I like the instinct apparent behind >>2966456. the vivisection of the human object of the photo via framing and composition, the way the tight framing also removes cues of context and setting, shit like that really speaks to me and I think once anon has a better handle on it with more practice they'll really burn down the house.

Darken the lights in the background either by HSL to lower orange lum or mask the orange in Photoshop, crop it in so it's taller and left edge doesn't have a person, denoise the sky more so it's a smoother color transition. Maybe that'll look good.

I only posted the last one. It's not good as in a masterpiece worthy of hanging in a museum, I'm pretty new to photography. I just kinda liked the deep colors the sky had got. I also like the placement of the clouds.
The color however doesn't add anything in particular so I just made it black and white.
