I'm scanning my first two rolls with this thing and its cool but shit it vignettes like crazy.

I think this is actually a more difficult camera to use than my Widelux, I don't know if it's compositionally or what, but 6x10 is a funky format.
The color rendition seemed pretty saturated, this one on my fire escape is straight from a flat-ish scan on the v700.
I'll also post some other recent shit here, let me know what /p/ thinks

I photographed this wall for almost a year, getting covered in graffiti then repainted then they tore it down without any warning. Fuck gentrification.

>piece of shit wall useful only for graffiti is torn down
>'gentrification'
That looks like the middle of buttfuck nowhere. Gentrification happens in city centers, like when old rundown apartment complexes get torn down or refurbished into wine bars or expensive bullshit shops that sell artistan salts and small-batch bitters and call themselves apothecaries.
wall looks like shit anyways.
>>2965536
That's because it is more vibrant, it just doesn't have a broad dynamic range.
cool photos, OP. you always deliver the comfy.

thats a neat project, are they all taken from the same point of view?

did you go to the show at alphaville?

alphaville in bushwick?

they were approximately, plus some other angles. It was during college in a class stressing multi discipline, but I suck at art/painting/ most mixed media shit, so I just shot the hell out of it with a ton of different cameras, but always managed to get it at sunset/dusk and tried to capture it through every iteration.
>>2965646
yeah middle of Santa Barbara, now the "funkzone" or something. It was the only cheap place to live in college and I had some rad neighbors but now it's all hip white kids who can't cut LA.
This one is the first shot I have of the blue wall, although somewhere in black and white exists a point and shoot shot off an XA while I was heading to the bar one day, in it's first iteration as a clean cinderblock wall. This had to be my first shot because it was on a Mamiya 7 according to my notes on my shot card in the first photo on the roll, which I sold a week into the class.
Assignment was "walkabout with creative focus" or something, so I threw focus forward.

Comicon was a weird thing for me. I took a Bronica and tried to do my usual documentary style shooting but everyone there was so tuned up to being photographed it was hard to capture any actual moments. inb4 shoot street with 35mm inb4 leica
I actually really like this guys pose and stature, almost like he is hiding behind this persona. The almost maniacal grip on the lightsaber and the piercing eyes really grabbed on the lightbox.

never knew bronica had 6x7 holy shit. still, would get 6x6 bronica.
>>2965743
the 67 is similar in build and design. I have the manual winder, not the shitty rz67 shill design ripoff. I have three lenses 60/100/150 plus backs polaroid and two prisms and the aforementioned winder plus a ton of little stuff like the shutter release (model specific) etc.

>>2965704
I like this shot, it's just a shame he had his strap and bags on. I'd have probably asked him for a nice posed shot since he was so into it. Really like the tones in this, which emulsion were you using?
I find that most people don't notice the bronica, even if I use a prism and speedgrip. I've only ever had one person come up to me while shooting street with it. If you use MLU with a WLF you're practically invisible unless it takes you forever to shoot.
>>2965734
>buy my GS-1
If only my SQ-Ai kit wasn't padded out and they were more of a thing in the UK ;_:
Also, if only it had a nice 135 pano back.

any chance you're in Belfast? Need someone to pick up a camera for me.
I'm more pleased with his pose in the fact that he has an adorama bag (about 2 km away from the Javits center where I shot this, so he was trudging all over NYC like a jedi). The film was portra 400, I think almost all the MF stuff I shoot is. Used to shoot tons of expired stuff but it just kills me when I get a crappy roll back and lost images because of age.

cmon, it's not great
You say it's great because you see MC Ride in it
It's okay but the framing could have been better
Also OP (you), I don't want to seem shitty but for I really find your pictures a little disappointing.
Of course the crisp photos make everything cool but most of your picture just have no sens, I get that you just shoot while exploring but maybe you should think about what you're shooting.
Most of your picture look like snapshots with higher resolution and neet sharpness.
It's like if you gear was more important than the picture itself.
>>2967479
