anyone here really into scenery? i do alot of hunting and even when i dont get an animal, theres always a view that makes the trip worth it. pic related, one i took hunting last year

yes, but i find that if i take a photo of the scenery, it seldom captures the beauty like i percieve it in the moment. instead it becomes a dull and meaningless landscape like the photos you took

It was a rock outcropping near the photo. I intentionally framed it that way.

If the road was more to the left then the rock would work better because right now the two are a bit clustered, but it would also need to be in focus.

As it stands the rock hurts the photo.
