Dude, a girl on railways. THAT is cliche. Or better even a band.
>>
>>2958963
If this is OC then it's not bad. The seated pose gives it a slightly random vibe - she should really be walking down the road for maximum clicheability.

I'm usually pretty good at being able to consider ideas from other perspectives, but of all the awful things in photography, overcooked "HDR" is the one that I really can't comprehend how anyone thinks it looks good.
>>
>>2959079
Not so much cliched as contrived.

>pointless Dutch angle
>utterly incongruous chair

Risible.
>>
>>2959080
imaging actually making that and then being so frightened that someone would steal it you needed a watermark.
>>
Sun holding - all variants

Honourable mentions: frames, selective colour, fake flare
>>
>>2959100
Believe it or not, people steal much shittier photos.

I knew I "photographer" at a small gallery in Texas took a lot of horse photos, bland shitty photos. She went to an art show in a town like 3 hours away and there was another "photographer" that had stole her photo of that horse off facebook (yes very low resolution) and framed it to sell at an art show.

I saw the photo, it was literally the same shitty photo. People will steal anything. I've even had my photos stolen and used as branding for companies

Oh guys, what are you even talking about? You can post ANY random photo and it's always cliche. Why? Because photography is overdone to no limit. EVERY photo is already taken. And not 1 time but hundret-thousands of times.
And that's how you define a cliche. Cliche is repetition.
>>
flower bokeh
>>
>>
>>2959121
That's incredibly over-simplified because despite there being a lot of people taking a lot of photos, some are simply done more than others because it's what we tend to do first before we grow beyond them, or before we stop.

Cliche isn't just repetition in general, it's a phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought, like the reductionist "All photos were already taken so every photo is cliche".

>>
>>2959080
I haven't ever seen a HDR photo that was even remotely pleasing to look at. Do they even exist?
>>
>>2963303
>Do they even exist?
Yes. The reason you think you've never seen one is because when it's done right by someone who knows what they're doing, you won't be able to tell it's HDR.

Alot of people confuse tonemapping for HDR, which is a whole other thing. I'll agree that a "good" tonemapped image does not exist.

Also this >>2959080 picture isn't even HDR or tonemapped lol, it's just fucking god awful editing.

I am one of those people that has lived trains since childhood and likes taking pictures of them and I still don't get this trend. I never really feel compelled to shoot down train tracks unless there is actually a train on them. And putting people on there is just stupid. I once spotted a group of people who had a camera on a tripod along with flashes and an umbrella, right there on the God dann tracks with a huge intermodal freight train barelling in their direction. Seriously what the fuck?

>travel the world
>visit a famous interesting landmark like the tower of Pisa
>make a cute little memory photo to share with family when you get back
What's the issue, faggot? Nobody's uploading this shit on their artistic instagram page.
>>

the issue is your "memories" are the same as everyone else's. do something worth remembering, you sure won't be wishing on your deathbed that you had taken more landmark selfies
>>

So tell me anon, is literally every action you take an action worth remembering on your deathbed, a meaningful and fulfilling action that fills you with purpose?
Of course not, you shitpost on /p/, what the fuck are you on about

Did that nigga need to slide his legs underneath the arm rests to sit like AC slater?

fucking KEK

I think you might be getting confused with taking pics of just landmarks and taking pictures of family with landmarks

I don't understand where you got the idea that memories should be creative

And in the case of the pushing the Pisa, anyone who takes the picture knows it's not original it's kinda like a vintage viral meme.

In my opinion if you go to the tower of Pisa for the first time and not do the push in purpose, you should be hanged

Not him, but no, it just means you need to work on getting your shit right in camera. Highlights are BTFO, light is flat and boring due to shooting midday, your composition is weak and full of distractions.

Why are you against alterations in general? It's not like what the camera captured is true to real life anyway.
