- Good camera+lens to get resolution and post-processing latitude and all that. It will raise the fraction of good shots that you get significantly.
- Good / interesting looking human in front of it.
- Apply artsy effect in post if the result is not quite striking enough.
- Take time to shoot some. Not every day is particularly great, even if the internet aggregates a hundred thousand people's okay and great shots.
