Feel more content with current setup than I have in a long time. Careful with grey market Nikon cameras, I read this article once on someone who sent their Nikon that they bought used in for repair to Nikon services, and Nikon responded telling the photographer that the Nikon they sent in was a fake. Forged serial number, replicated grip, different fonts on bottom body text, buttons had slight variations, basically somehow someone copied a functional Nikon body and made a bootleg.

I've got the "kit"' 24-120 f4. (It's actually really fuckin handy), a 50mm f1.8g, a manual 200mm f4, and just bought a 20mm f2D.

Honestly the 24-120 stays on my camera 90% of the time. Is decently light, plenty sharp, got vr, and can be stopped down if you wanna pixel peep. It does have bad CA and vignetting, oh and barrel distortion. But that can all be fixed in LR.

Same kit here and that's pretty much been my assessment of it. Lens hood really cuts down on the vignetting. Interesting you mention chromatic aberration, I've noticed something seems a bit off in some of my photos so I'll have to look more into this. Digital: Some early Canon snapshitter -> IXUS 40 -> Powershot A560 -> Olympus Tough and many years of cellphone cameras -> Olympus OM-D EM-10.

Pic related taken with my IXUS back in good old 2006. I really loved taking macro snapshits with it until the novelty wore off and I realized DSLRs were far too expensive.

they discontinued the line shortly after I bought into it cause i didn't read up that it was happening.
on the uphand 3 of my lenses are canon FDs with adapters so i'm thinking mirrorless but
a6000 is too close in specs to my nx for me to jump ship

Originally started properly with my Samsung S4 Zoom (shit tier start I know, a normal compact camera fused to a mobile phone) > my sister's old Samsung NX10 for a while (considerably good considering it's age at the time I used it) > (was considering making an expensive upgrade to a Samsung NX1 but) upgraded to a DSLR Canon 760D instead (after seeing Samsung was discontinuing their CSCs and the Canon was newer and considerably cheaper at the time).

Want to kind of upgrade to a Sony A6300 and still use my Canon 760D for a comparison and preference photo take with either camera.
Ideally want an adapter so I can use my Canon lenses with the Sony A6300.

i would appreciate a viewfinder. tilting screen is good for some things but framing falls kinda short.
im also underwhelmed with samsung line of lenses and the focal lens that they chose.
I actually got to play with a fuji and their 23mm i liked the aperture and the focal length gets close to a 35mm in full frame.

I wouldn't I'm considering moving up to a D7200 from my D3300 this Christmas, but to get any real upgrade from there I'd move full frame. Remember cameras of the same series are in the same class of tech. So you won't notice a big difference unless you move up a series at least.

But for my upgrade path: disposables > borrowed D5100 > my own D3300 (now) > D7200 > D750 or future equivalent mid-range FF
