Why do you guys always shoot in Aperture priority mode?

My camera rests in S mode in case I need to take it out and take a fast shot. Almost all of my shots are in M mode. The only mode I use A more than is P.
That said, I think most people without evfs prefer A because that's the mode where they can actually see the effects of it in their viewfinder. Aperture on one dial and exposure compensation on the other is very popular because it just works, without any special setup.
