The kit lens is a 70mm f/5.6, which is equal to a 1DX with a 35mm f/2.8. That's reasonable considering the resolution and optical quality is in another universe.
However you can easily mount an affordable 105mm f/2.4, which is equal to a 50mm 1.1, besting the Canon 50 1.2 in bokeh, and competing with the Leica 50 1 & 0.95 in bokeh, but crushing both without competition in detail.

It's only marginally better, not "in another universe".

>affordable
prolly a grand

You don't buy it for bokeh, you buy it for detail. It is a landscaper camera and you wouldn't use it at f/8, more like at f/22 or f/32 for maximum DoF.

But Fuji already made this camera, with a coupled rangefinder and a hotshoe and an even wider lense?
>>2937115
As someone who shoots 6x7cm and 4x5in, I can confirm that this is spot on. These cameras can do well in bokeh, but they really really shine when you get them to the smallest possible apertures before visible diffraction. Intense detail all over the frame, foreground and background. Especially on some Provia 100f. That's some intense shit under a loupe.
