Digital
Square sensor
Same lens mount as the DSLR line
Has only live view
Huge square LCD display on the top, can swivel to the back.
What do you guys think?

> square sensor
What format are you thinking?
Also, if it's going to be mirrorless then give it a new mount with a shorter flange focal plane distance, and an adaptor for SLR lenses.
>>2929698
>> square sensor
>What format are you thinking?
Just make a sensor that is square and big enough for FF lenses.
>>2929700
30.6mm

This is quite aesthetically pleasing.

lmao

well where is the link to your kickstarter ?
How one would hold?
And where would be the shutter button?
Could be improved with a rolleyflex kind of design.
But instead of twin lenses, has a single lens mount. Everything by a lcd screen live view.
>>2929775
delet this!!!
>Square sensor
Can you fuck off with this already.

you are garbage my friend.

Hi, my father is a nikon engineer, already told him this whole concept and he thinks it is a good idea too. Wait for 2 years.
>>2930891
My Dad works for Sega and he said this whole digital thing is a passing fad. I'm investing heavily in silver nitrate and bakerlite as we speak.
>>2930952
>VERY fast dad running at incredible hihg speed
>>2929696
>Has only live view
>Huge square LCD display on the top, can swivel to the back
The worst part is that you probably unironically think these are good things.
>>2930213
>Let's take the most defining features of a TLR
>And get rid of it
Might as well get a Hasselblad 500 and a digital back.
Also what the hell is your obsession with live view? It's not that great and saps the battery life.

Do you know how much digital medium format backs cost?
Yeah they could rehouse an aps-c camera easily, but if this was a 6x6 medium format sensor, it would be towards 10,000$

New Sony Alpha a99ii is better
Square sensor autist, Hasselblad stole your idea.

Quiz question: how easy and cheap is it to develop a new sensor?
>>2932313
You don't need to develop a new sensor.
1) change the project using the same tech on a differente layout. Probably there are costs to make a new mask. But that's it.
Or
2) use leftovers from the sony MF batch that had deffects, cut those and make a smaller square sensor.

they just did
