I'm trying to learn basics on photography but everything i find is just gibberish for me. I don't know anything, so do you have any recommendations, sites, forums anything.
Btw this is a photo taken with my phone and edited with Lightroom.

I learned everything from trial and error at first. Bought a DSLR and starting going out every chance I got. My first photos are fucking horrible, but I can confidently say that within a year's time I am now better than most of my friends and even better than some of my professors and friends who have been shooting 20+ years. I learned a lot of stuff from reading David Prakel, Lynda, Strobist, and some of the old ASC manuals and journals. I always listen and obseremy friends and teachers critically. Fail fast, and fail often. You will get the hand of it eventually. There is a lot on YouTube and Lynda that will help you a lot. But ultimately, you need to get the fuck out there and start shooting. But when you do, really consider your photos. Start looking at other people's photos and see what you like, and what you don't like. But at the end of the day, listen to your intuition and be confident, you will get the hang of it soon enough you'll be taking photos you have always dreamt about.
Go to your local library and take out a beginner photography book. Otherwise I have no idea how that was gibberish, its all the same language. Did you try for 5 minutes and give up?

Not OP but I dare asking:
I want to get into photography and browsed the guide, which pretty much say that skills are far more important than the gear.
Now is using a fairly low budget compact camera useful to improve myself, even when I'm planning to buy a DSLR camera in some months?

there is nothing to learn if you are using your phone, just point and shoot, try and get nice composition and shoot in best light possible
if you really wanna learn, buy a dslr, any will do
shoot in program mode, and take note of the settings used for photos
learn what aperture and shutterspeeds are
shoot in aperture and shutter priority
watch youtube vids on how to edit photos in photoshop
colour and exposure correction, levels and curves most importantly
practice practice practice
